Volunteering can be a wonderfully rewarding experience, but to avoid disappointment it's best to have realistic expectations and to be prepared and informed about what volunteering abroad entails.

Being a Responsible Volunteer for Disciples communities generally don't have a problem finding a volunteer. They have difficulty finding a responsible one. Remember there are to keep in mind when applying for an opportunity or working as a volunteer.

Why not? Volunteering is a unique experience that can immerse you in another culture, help you develop long-lasting friendships, and make an overall difference in the world.
